Rabbit Hole Distillery Announces First Ever Single Barrel Release, Heigold – Cask Strength

Just in time for National Bourbon Day, Rabbit Hole Distillery drops it’s first ever single barrel release and it is their Heigold at cask strength. These bottles have been handpicked by both Fred Minnick and Rabbit Hole’s master distiller Kaveh Zamanian, the man who brought us their Mizunara release earlier this year, so you know this is going to be the good stuff.

In case you didn’t know, National Bourbon Day is June 14th (mark this on your calendars if you haven’t already, it should be a national holiday as far as we’re concerned) and this release is scheduled to debut on site at their distillery from 5pm – 8pm EST.

Just make sure to get there early, as the release is first come, first served and limited to one bottler per-person.

These bottles will retail at the event for $105.99 and 100% of the sales will be going to the Louisville Fund for the Arts’ Culinary Initiative Strategic Relief Fund, which provides support to culinary institutions across Louisville and Kentucky.

The bottles will come with six unique labels, featuring a modern interpretation of the famous Louis Carroll characters: Alice, The White Rabbit, The Hatter, The Queen, The King and The Headsman by Korean watercolorist and fashion illustrator Kasiq Jungwoo Lee.

If the unique label and the chance to grab their first single barrel release at cask strength wasn’t enticing enough, Master Distiller Kaveh Zamanian will be there to personally sign every bottle sold at the event.

Remember, this is a limited time and limited stock release with only 144 bottles to be available for purchase and one per customer, so make sure to add this event to the agenda and set a few reminders on the 14th. We’ve gotten to try a few samples straight out of the barrel at Rabbit Hole and having said that, we’re very excited to try this cask strength release given the opportunity.
